Holy Moly! Change in Criminal Court C, Judge Ben Willard! Since Diversion has been occupying more time on his docket, he’s expedited the Court Check in Process that used involve the Judge and a court appearance. Now the Court Clerk handles the entire matter before the Judge arrives, as long as the Court hasn’t been notified about a change in the Diversion Case. This saves the Court system a lot of money, as the docket is an expensive operation at all times.
In the nine months or more that this blog has been created, there’s been very little cause to celebrate the system. Now the first major evidence of efficiency has set in- expediting non offending Diversion clients out of the Judge’s purview and into the Clerk’s. This is certainly cause to celebrate!
Any major time savings designed by the Judge or his people makes Court C, Criminal Courts that much efficient is remarkable.
A Tip of the Top Hat to Criminal Court C!
